AfterSchool Professional Network
Everyday heroes can be found in after-school programs all across the country. They are men and women, young and old, students, retirees and parents. They bring energy, playfulness, a sense of wonder and a desire to make a difference. They are sometimes thanked by grateful parents or programs, but for the most part, their contributions often go unrecognized and unappreciated.
AfterSchool Professional Network Quest for Excellence Award NEW! Watch the video about our 2008 Quest for Excellence Award winner, Christine Holtz. School-Age NOTES Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization incorporated in the state of Kansas to support to support quality after-school programs through a national awards program, training and the promotion of excellence.
In 2008 the Foundation welcomed AfterSchool Professional Network (AfterSchoolPro) as the sponsor of the Quest for Excellence Award, celebrating the dedication of the front line staff member. The recipient also receives a lifetime membership to AfterSchool Professional Network. Together the Foundation and AfterSchoolPRO support and promote recognition of excellence in the after-school field. You can help us further support and honor these unsung heroes with a contribution to the School-Age NOTES Foundation. For After-School Program resources, visit the School-Age NOTES website.
